The church wedding planned for summer for pop singer Michael Wendler (48, "Egal") and his Laura (19) is being postponed – and may not take place in Las Vegas.
An RTL spokeswoman said on Friday – if the situation around the Corona virus allows it – it is currently assumed that the couple will answer yes in the autumn in front of running television cameras. “Focus Online” had previously reported.
The same uncertainty also applies to the location of the wedding, which Las Vegas was once intended for. "There is also a question mark behind the place," said the RTL spokeswoman. "We have to make everything relatively spontaneously dependent on the situation." However, a live broadcast is still planned.
RTL had announced in April that it wanted to broadcast the church wedding – but had already indicated that Corona could overturn the plans. In the meantime Wendler and Laura have already married in a civil registry office. In June they said yes in Florida.
