Actress and director Esther Schweins and her two children reflected on the good side of the time in the Corona crisis.
"We focused very early on saying how good we have to live together in a family," said the 50-year-old to the German Press Agency in Hamburg. Schweins lives with her children and her sister-in-law's family on Mallorca.
So far, she was only worried about the corona-related military presence and the impotence in relation to the virus. Beyond that, however, she tries to deal calmly with the crisis. "We have a vegetable garden and the ceiling cannot fall on our heads – only the sky."
She now hopes that her ten and eleven year old children can go back to school normally in September. «We'll wait and see what happens. Plannability is just what we are all no longer given – neither professionally nor privately. » That is why she currently takes life exactly as it comes. "At the moment, it's a good idea to deal with what is right now."
From August 4, Schweins can be seen in the ARD evening series “Die Kanzlei” as a buttoned, snappy prosecutor. The series with Sabine Postel and Herbert Knaup starts their fourth season on Tuesday, 8.15 p.m.
