Actor Dennis Quaid (66, "The Great Carelessness") has in the "Today Show" chatted by Hoda Kotb about his marriage to Laura Savoie (27). Quaid stated that the age difference in her marriage was not a problem. "It's been around 30 years between us, but we just don't notice it," said Quaid. He had never felt so connected to anyone else in his life. "We have such a good relationship. Love always finds its way. You don't know when it comes, who it will be and you have no control over it." The couple couldn't be happier, the actor enthuses.
The wedding was supposed to take place in Hawaii in April, and a second party for family and friends was planned in Nashville. Due to the corona pandemic, the couple had to postpone the wedding and drastically reduced their plans. On June 2, Quaid and Savoie exchanged the rings at a ceremony with a pastor in a Santa Barbara resort.
The couple met for the first time at a business event in May 2019. The actor, who had been married three times, spoke in an interview with "People" from "love at first sight".
