“Glacier 3000 Air Show”: Spectacular artistry as a signal in the corona crisis

With spectacular tricks, top artists in the Swiss Alps have drawn attention to the dramatic situation in the event industry due to the corona crisis.

At the “Glacier 3000 Air Show”, acrobat Sheila Nicolodi performed a pole dance at lofty heights. The Swiss wire rope artist Freddy Nock walked with an opaque helmet on a rope of the cable car in the Glacier 3000 ski area near Les Diablerets. He also rode a bike thanks to a balancing stick on the ropes 175.4 meters above the ground for a distance of 367 meters.

The acrobatic artist Ramon Kathriner performed during the show on a "death wheel" with the Swiss Alps in the background. The cable car facilities, which were still closed on weekdays for tourists, became an art stage. From June 27, the facilities will be open to tourists again daily, according to the company's website.
