He said of the black freedom fighter Harriet Tubman that she had never really freed slaves: "She only let her work for other whites." Tubman was born around 1820 on a plantation in Maryland. She went down in the history books because from 1850 she helped countless other slaves to freedom as an underground fighter. She later became involved in the women's movement. She died in 1913. As a racist, West condemned the claim that his candidacy would divide black voters in the United States.

At the event, which was called an election campaign, West burst into tears when he said that his father wanted to get his mother to abort him. "My mother saved my life," he said. Abortion was also an issue between him and his wife Kim Kardashian. Kanye West indicated that he was initially against the birth of their first child, daughter North.
The rapper wore a protective vest with the inscription "Security" on his appearance and had the year 2020 cut into his hair.
