Kanye West (43, "Stronger") can not only count on the support of his wife Kim Kardashian (39), who West defended in an Instagram statement and because of his, after his confused Twitter statements and a bizarre campaign appearance for his US presidential candidacy asked for compassion in bipolar disorder. As the US magazine "People" reports, two of West's close school friends from Chicago traveled to his home in Wyoming. The confidants are said to be Don "Don C" Crawley, who was West's best man and in his label G.O.O.D. works, and John Monopoly, West's former manager, acts.
They arranged for a medical examination
"They are very concerned about his mental health and have taken action," an undisclosed source told the US magazine. "They're working to give him the help he needs." West is said to have been examined by a doctor who advised against immediate hospitalization because he was in a stable mental state.
Work on a new album
"ET Online" also reportsthat music producer Damon Dash was spotted with West last Wednesday. The two are said to be working on the rapper's album, which West has announced several times. The album, named after his late mother Donda (1949-2007) and released on Friday according to the rapper, will apparently be titled "Donda: With Child", only "Donda" or "DND: WTH CHLD".
That Tuesday West showed his closest friends around him on his ranch in Cody in the US state of Wyoming in a video that shows him together with five other men. One of them is US comedian Dave Chappelle (46). The latter flew to him "to make sure that I was fine," said West to the clip on twitter. "Brotherhood is real, love is real", Chappelle's words can also be heard in the video.
