After the surprising news of the wedding of the queen granddaughter Princess Beatrice (31) and her partner Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (37), the palace published a photo of the celebration on Saturday.
Queen Elizabeth II (94) and her husband Prince Philip (99) were also present at the wedding ceremony on Friday at Windsor Castle. The picture shows the couple in a Gothic archway decorated with flowers.
As usual with the Royals, her bridal bouquet was placed on the tomb of the unknown soldier in Westminster Abbey, as can be seen in another photo. Beatrice is the older of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's two daughters (both 60) and the ninth in the British line of succession. Her younger sister Eugenie (30) married two years ago in Windsor with great media attention.
