Model Rosanna Davison (36) is pregnant with twins, just like the Irish woman on Wednesday evening posted on Instagram. In addition to this good news, the former Miss World (2003) also made the dramatic background of this growing baby happiness public. Because previously the mother of a daughter had 14 miscarriages.
"We had to deal with fourteen pregnancy losses and a challenging fertility journey in the past few years before we were finally able to greet Sophia with the help of a surrogate mother in November last year (2019)," she writes. Sophia Rose Quirke is the daughter of her and husband (since 2014) Wesley Quirke (born 1983).
The "fertility miracle" as a stimulant
Rosanna Davison continues that she has been told that she will probably never be able to carry her own baby due to an immune system malfunction that could not be remedied medically. "So it is an absolute dream for us that this happens naturally and that we also happen to have twins", the daughter of music star Chris de Burgh (71, "Lady in Red") can hardly believe her luck.
"Fertility wonders may take some time, but they can really happen in an unexpected and magical way," she writes, closing her post with "lots of love to those who are still on a baby trip: never give up hope!" Rosanna Davison is five months pregnant and is looking forward to "identical twin boys" who are due to be born in November.
