A 72 hour Livestream A fishing trip by numerous celebrities attracted several hundred thousand people to the screens at the weekend.
Influencer Jens Knossalla, known as Knossi, broadcast the weekend together with musician Sido, music producer Manny Mark (Marc Schneider, "Die Atzen") and influencer Sascha Hellinger ("Unsympathisch TV") on the streaming platform Twitch at the "Angelcamp" a lake near Brandenburg an der Havel live on the Internet.
Sido almost left the camp
"I am not a good angler, but I do it because it relaxes me," said Sido, explaining his participation in the campaign. "Fishing is action, fishing is fun," said Knossalla. The participants dueled in fishing and competed against each other in various other challenges.
But there were also conflicts: Sido almost left the camp on Saturday evening. The rapper had apparently been the victim of a prank: a masked figure had approached the campfire at which he was sitting at night. However, Sido was persuaded by the remaining participants to stay. He later said that he no longer felt safe.
New record on the Twitch streaming platform
The visits of singer Pietro Lombardi and several influencers kept the number of viewers skyrocketing. Klaas Heufer-Umlauf was actually supposed to visit the camp, but the TV host canceled at short notice.
According to a report by the "Berliner Morgenpost"The camping trip with more than 300,000 spectators set a new record among German streamers on Saturday evening. Marcel Eris alias Montana Black had held the previous record on the Twitch platform, which is particularly popular in the gaming scene – the well-known gamer also paid a visit to the camp on the lake.
