TV show in the Alps: Florian Silbereisen in Kitzbühel again with a live audience

TV festival at a Tyrolean mountain lake: The live show “Schlager, Stars & Sterne – The big sea party in Austria” with Florian Silbereisen will go this Saturday (July 25, 8:15 pm in the first and ORF2) despite an ongoing corona pandemic with viewers on site over the stage.

Around 400 spectators – otherwise there are more than a few thousand – are present live at the Ehrenbachhöhe storage lake between Kitzbühel and Kirchberg, which is around 1,800 meters high, as an MDR spokeswoman for the German Press Agency said – "of course under appropriate hygiene requirements".

Never before has a Silbereisen show been produced at such a height and in such a location, according to the MDR. Silbereisen posted a small video of herself with an accordion in a mountain railway on Facebook on Thursday: "On the way to work – wonderful."

Among others, Thomas Anders (57) is part of the ARD show. With him, Silbereisen (38) recently published the number one album entitled "The Album". Roland Kaiser, Matthias Reim, DJ Ötzi, Sarah Lombardi, Daniela Katzenberger and Lucas Cordalis as well as Giovanni Zarrella are also expected as guests “at the lake, on the lake and in the lake”. The guest list of the Silbereisen shows is similar.

Two years ago – on June 2, 2018 – Silbereisen already celebrated one of its ARD festivals in Kitzbühel. At that time the show was called "Schlager, Stars und Sterne – The Castle Party in Austria" and was produced at Schloss Kaps. Among others Michelle and Andreas Gabalier were there – but also, as now in 2020, Andy Borg and Ben Zucker.

The hit business, like the entire cultural sector, was pretty shaken in the Corona year because of canceled concerts and festivals.

Florian Silbereisen was last seen with an ARD festival on June 6th – but because of Corona still without audience. The show was called "Schlagerlovestory 2020 – The big reunion" and made up for a show that was originally planned for March 14 in Halle (Saale). Out of concern for the corona virus, the hit show had been postponed and then relocated to Leipzig.

In the "Schlagerlovestory", the singer Anna-Carina Woitschack (27) married the musician and moderator Stefan Mross (44, "Always on Sundays") live in front of a good 5 million viewers. The only other Silbereisen Saturday evening show this year had previously been “Schlagerchampions – The big festival of the best” on January 11th.
