Sylvie Meis on her wedding: "I will never take a man's name again"
Presenter Sylvie Meis and her fiance, the artist Niclas Castello, want to get married in Tuscany in August. "We are getting married in Florence, Italy is our favorite country," Meis told the magazine "Gala". The festival had to be postponed because of Corona. "I totally fell in love with the location, a beautiful boutique hotel with a fantastic view of the city. Very stylish and with a mirrored ballroom like in Versailles," said the 42-year-old. There will be celebrations for four days, so she will wear four different outfits. However, she would not change her last name. "I will never take the name of a man again," said Meis, who was married to soccer player Rafael van der Vaart from 2005 to 2013.
